+ i would like to say>>
did u ever wonder why madeshi people are back ward then pahadi people though terai has fertile land compared to hilly and mountaneous region,
did u ever wonder why nepal and all south asian people are so back ward compared to european nation where almost half of the year is snow fall and half a year have climate as us where they can grow and cultivate, but still ther are so so developed then us…
well reason is ..blame no body ..we are the responsible for our current state…. so please start fighting for what’s top in the priority list..

you are 100 % correct, I agree with you.
main thing is corruption, politician just divide people to get benifit from general people. Even in Madhesh, the caste system
I am a victim of this caste system, the Madheshi Brahman’s daughter was telling me SOLKAN, humiliating………..
we cannot belive, if these madheshi organisation want to do something then why donot have one party rather than more than 50 parties/outfit. Just these are the profession where is no real jobs for people.
Like Maoist these outfit just want power………..

The new book called ‘Madheshi Uprising: The resurgence of ethnicity’ by Mr Kalyan B. Mathema (2011) is a powerful document on the history of Mithila. A must for every Madheshi historian and political analyst. It links Mithila history with central Madhesh rebellion. I recommend it.
