Madhesi - United We Stand

You are missing the name of a political party named as NEPALI JANATA DAL estd in 2056 bs and even stood with 24 candidates in the election. It is a madhesi party with as madhesipan as any madhesi of nepal, with Mrs Ramdulari Devi Shah as the chairperson and Mr Haricharan Shah as the Pradhan Mahasachib.
While we shouldnot forget that the party though not that much active these days, stood in the 11th postion in the 2056 election of more than 40 political parties there.

In this regard, i want to inform you that I am central president of Nepal Terai Engineers Society(In nepali we call it “Neapl Terai Engineers SamaJ”).Our committee is third executive committee. Er. Sita Ram Sah was president in 2nd executive and Bishnu Dev was president in first executive. Our founder president’s name is Er Satya Narayan Sah.
Last and recent general assembly held on 17 Asadh,2063 in IOE Pulchowk campus where Sita Ram ji had already handedover all documents and all things. so pls update your wave page in regards to information of Nepal Terai Engineers Society(NTES).

Along with the political development the most important thing that comes is the development of attitude and science and technology as we see the land best in science and tech is the the best in the world and is considered to hold greater dignity. and we are on that very expedition, to make madhes the most probable capital of madhes, the science city. and the major science center of this south Asia only, we have started our expedition and we are working for it since last 6 years and we are committed to see it in the state i want it to. You Madhesi people actually are Indians. You have no much rights to obtain autonomous as your counterpart Tharus. Tharu can’t be labelled as Madhesis. They are indegenous, but in the case of Madhesis, they are immigrant. If you continue to such a rally in the backing of Bharatiya Janta Party of India and Gyanendra, it is sure you will loose the game, srtipping off yourself from potential previlege. Your leader, Upendra Yadav, whom you call your president has received a huge amount of money from Gyanendra before he split with Maoist. Do you know this fact? I am also Madhesi and love Madhesi voice, but some of our people have been voicing in exchange of money, bot people advantage.

madhesi! what this word means?
once this word was used to insult people of Tarai by the so called pahadiyas.
if Madhesi means people of Indian origin then all people residing now in Nepal are Madhesi. AS most of their ancestor are migrated from India.
Jha,Mishra, Thakur, Karna, Sakya,Mall,Upadhya,
Shrestha(Newar-originally Nair) all are from India. Thus this word has some problem.
let me get explined by the Leader of Madhesis, what is Madhesi.

Dear Friends,
Nice to know about too many Madheshi Organization. Still we blame each other but couldn’t unite for common goal. If any organization work for madheshi people , we all should support them. Either the organization related to any group. No organization can do better individually. But we do best supporting every one. Some one blame Matriaka Yadav , some one blame Upendra Yadav, some one blame Jawala Singh, but why we couldn’t think, they all fight for us. Everybody has individual interest, but at least they have some common interest for all madheshi people. So pls don’t balme any one if u couldn’t support some one. Don’t think, what they have done for us, just think what i have done for madhesh & support for them.
We have gotten great impression with Upendra Yadav at B. S. 2046 after democracy when I was a student of 9 class at school level. At common party program, he had given best speech & thats synchronize also in reality. So, Guys its better to support all the madheshi leaders and people. They may be some time misguided but come on track after some miles traveliing. All the best for me & us ……………..all of madhesh

Personally i’m very impressed with Sushil, Farinum Choudhary ans Rakesh as well, since these people are logically very offensive. But as far as Matrika Yadav is concerned; he’s just show piece in Maost party and same for Ram Baran Yadav, Bimlendra Nidhi and more in rest of the parties.
So do you people still want to be slave of Shah and These Kahasiya (Specially Bahun and Chetri-Pahade) Rulers.
And please be aware of people like Nepali man, Migendra Karna and Dev Narayan Jha, these people must be either broker of Maost, or Bahun dominated party or may be even of Gyanedra, none are our supporters, are suppressors. They conspiratintg to break our unity among us including the Tharu and Danuwar community.
And for the statement of bloddy hell guy Mrigendra Karn, here goes my answer for your question.
1. You know the origin of Khasiya, dominating community in Nepal, these are the immigrants of Kashmir (Former Khasmir) between 13’th and 16’th century, deserted by Afgani muslims.
2. Rana and the Shah -the ruler and founder of Nepal are the immigrants of ChttourGarh and Mewar of Rajsthan, India taking the assylum in Nepal for the secure life from Muslim attackers during the period of 16’th century. Same applies for Sen kings of Makawanpur and Palpa- The Rajputs.
So how the hell are you saying that madhesi are immigrants of India, don’t know the historic places like Simraoungarh of Bara and history of Mithila (Janakpur). If you have even 1% brain then you better release our terai part from Nepal, if we are not the Nepali like you. We need free terai.
As far as Upendra Yadav is concerned, he’s our hero since i have read several books written by him and political background.
BEWARE OF MADHESI (People of Terai).

Thank you for your kind eforts towards minimizing the conflict in Terai. Please keep it up. we are also with you to suport the rights of madheshi but not in exchange of humilition of self respect and self determination. Well, if the people do not agree to live together with brotherhood, then better to give them total independancy and rights to live separately under one National flag. It will provide a filling of competition and in long turn they will definately prove themselves more eficient than the others.

Its a nice effort to put the organizations working for madhes together.
I would like to suggest you to make available the main objective of such organizations along with details (as links).
Is it possible to educate all (madhesi and other) about the madhesi political parties like MJF, TMDP, SP, NJD, etc. I am trying to get the election manifesto of these parties online, but we dont have any.
Since the manifestos are historical documents, I suggest you to put the documents in our archive for future references by interested parties.

dear friends,
first of all i want to clarify on behalf of most of the madhesi (me being a madhesi myself) living in the country . it’s not a matter of discussion whether madhesi’s are living in a pahadi-country or pahades are living in a madhesi-country. this country nepal belongs equally to all of us (whether we are madise or pahariya!) and nobody has got any right to even label the country in such a manner. and no violent revolution will lead to a long-term solution , even though such agitations may serve as a necessary evil in drawing attention to the desire of the madhesi people.
another important thing i want to say is that being a madhesi doesn’t necessarily make us an indian-supporter because india is a giant, rapidly economically and culturally-growing country, irrefutably, which has got interests of it’s own and for its countryman. In this respect they are more accountable, responsible to the pahade-looking peoples like those in sikkim, northern bengal (includes darjeeling, kalimpong et cetera) than the indian -looking faces -the madhesis- in our country. calling madhesis “indians or dhoti or whatever” and trying to prove the fact by baseless, ludicrous examples will only incite a new generation of young madhesis who out of impulse will say ” yes i’m an indian . so what? now madhesh is india and…..”. so clearly those pahades who calls their fellow- madhesi citizens indian are benefitting india itself. why give benefit to other country? that also for country like india who would be glad to receive a major chunk of our land. they will supply LPG free of cost to fuel this hatred which unfortunately our own countryman have ignited themselves.
so what i want to say is lets not fight.only if we work together, a better tomorrow will come when our children work hand-to-hand to build this nation with no hatred in their hearts and when people forget to discriminate (not only between pahadis and madhesis, but within pahadis – like between bahuns, newars , tamangs et cetera- as well as within madhesis) only then the dream of a “sundar shant bikashit nepal” will be realized. so all nepali (madhesi and pahadi …for now) brothers (can’t tell sisters as marrying a foreigner may not be possible for me!) , last time it was king prithvi who needed lots of bloodshed to unify this country, this time it’s we the youngsters of nepal who’ll need to avoid bloodshed to unify this country in a true sense. unfortunately when in the world the most powerful country has trusted and chosen a black as his leader, we nepalis are still doing the same madise-pahade thing – these are the things the developed world used to do in their past but they have learnt now after experience and we nepalis who have proper access to whats going in this world are no dumb , are we? they have learnt from experience and it’s wise for us to learn from their experiences. so who should start first? though it may sound appealing for the oppressor to start but i think the oppressed should be equally receptive. it;s a mutual process of understanding and trust which is the most important thing our country needs. only then our country will be switzerland not within 25 yrs but within these 10 yrs.

hi, nice to c a blog like this, guys anyone can u tell me instead of using terai word why to use madhesh & madhesi word. is there any logic? as i know this word is introduced by Gajendra narayan Singha(the late founder president of contemporary NSP). but we know this place is here since centuries.So, using this madhesi word also not acceptable for tharus as they r indigenious of terai . as fact shows madhesh exist in india only then why use thi sword which also make dispute with the friend force tharus and become the point for humaliation from the pahadis.
so i think better use terai insted of madhesh

let me analyse the word madhesh and madhesi-
if u see the history, people from the nepal (pahadi infact) used to come down towards terai in past, most of them (in fact around 95%) used to be uneducated infact illiterate.after lading on the lowland of terai they used to find the different geography, different people ,different culture-i mean drastic lifestyle. as they use to be illiterare they used to have no aware about the national boundaries,and used to think that they were in india-for what they used to call it madhesh and for peple of that place madhesi. but which was due to lack of knowledge. I have still not accepting this point that this word introduced due to lack of knowledge and one person highlighted it for his personal and political use-that word should not create the dispute between the indigenious tharus and the other non tharus who has been staying together from long and now struggling for the same-ie.for identity,self independency and freedom. so i think this word should not create any dispute in between the friendly forces. only then we all can achieve our common goal .
hope this will make u all think once more about this issue.

We are proud of being Madheshi.If some one mostly khas people blame us saying we are the origin of india. I think he have already known with the history of Mithila. So we Mithila paople are the real inhabitants of Nepal.Actually You khas and Mangolian peoples are the real origin of india and china.You khas came here in 16the century from Kasmir. So you khas phadias stop saying indian origin and dhoti. If you call us dhoti we call you toppi. Understood

Government´s failure
The Government should take action on Tiger Tops incident in Chitwan, where former crown prince Paras Shah whipped out a pistol and threatened Rubel Choudhary, son-in-law of Deputy Prime Minister Sujata Koirala. No one is above the law and the constitution and therefore the nation should take action against the guilty. It is the government´s failure to arrest the guilty despite the fact that Paras himself admitted the wrongdoing. We the Law strongly demands that the government immediately arrest him and initiate legal action to make sure similar incidents do not repeat in future.

As per the clause 5 (2) of the Anti-Defection Act nine lawmakers of Terai Madhesh democratice party led by Minister for Industry Mahendra Prasad Yadav announcing a new outfit Tarai-Madhes Democratic Party-Nepal. As per the Parliament Act of the Legislature Parliament, there should be at least 40 per cent of the total lawmakers of any party to establish a new faction splitting from the mother party. Only some days before the Madhesi people’s Right forum (Democratic) has suffered a split, with a faction of party leaders led by sanjay shah.These Factions among them is already a clear sign of their Failure.I mean to say there are a lot of leaders to be called themselves in Madhesh but It’s pity for Madheshi people that there is no any single person to lead on behalf of them on national level. They spilit their party for money, position and post.Now spilitization become the prominent character of Madhesh based party.i would like to ask one question to Madhesed based leaders if they had no differences regarding the issue of Madhesh then why they time and again they spilit.This shows that they split the party to secure a better position in the next government.

The new book called ‘Madheshi Uprising: The resurgence of ethnicity’ by Mr Kalyan B. Mathema (2011) is a powerful document on the history of Mithila. A must for every Madheshi historian and political analyst. It links Mithila history with central Madhesh rebellion. I recommend it.

It is very soothing to see that finally after centuries , revolution has taken quite a scientific form ,this is only the way to reach the international community and international mechanism ,in order to pressure them to bring international attention over this issue.Evidently back in 19th century one of teh historical marker of madhesi revolution was fighting against the gorkha with british India company ,But may I suggest my fellows here not to be anti-pahadi ,Although I m myself a madhesi ,I don think thats the best way to moblise or provoke our citizens ,by this what i mean to say is cant we still respect other´s ethnicity and still seek for our own soverignty . Maithili as a culture ,I related it to Sita and Ram ,which doesnt teach us to be against or anti other ethnicity . I feel sad seeing some comments and some emotional influence over people ..definetely It might turn us violent cuz everyone of us has demon inside ,so we need to oversome that demon .
Not to forget the issues of caste system (Dalits) who has been culturally for economic motive kept dominated .We need to be very sensitive ,sound and human seroisuly (HUMAN) cuz reflecting to madhes in nepal I see how MAdhesis are under double oppression formed througout centurires and planned exclusion .But I tend to see the triple oppression of those Madhesi woman and madhesi kids who are in worst condition ,discriminated under patriarchal society just beign a woman is almost a curse ,upon that they belong to madhes . And another focus on the triple oppression refering to MAdhesi Dalit woman .Adding upon fourfold oppression ,for those Dalit girl child..The school or the mandir of knowledge is a mandir or a group attack or strateguy over them with imposed discrimination from thier collegues .WE shoudl satrt taking this away from our family.Gotta start from the family . Until this is not done ,WE won´t answerable to ourselves .
Ending this! last thought lets not accuse and try to show lack of culture of pahadis or tryign to attack them ,cuz this is childish ,we need to grow up. and be human and fight for our rights .wE need to try to be better than others ..or else there wont be any difference.

मानव सभ्यता के प्रारम्भ से ही मधेश (मध्यदेश) राष्ट्र का अस्तित्व रहा है। वेद, पुराण और प्राचीन ग्रन्थों में मध्यदेश की चर्चा और विवरण बराबर मिलती है। वैवश्वत मनु के बेटा इक्ष्वाकु मध्यदेश के प्रथम राजा माने जाते हैं। उसके ३४ पिढी बाद भगवान राम और माता सीता ने मध्यदेश को धन्य किया था। भगवान बुद्ध भी ई. पु. ५६३ में मधेश (मज्झिमदेश) में ही जन्म लेकर इस भूमि को धन्य किया। उनके समय में मधेश विशाल था, और मधेश की सीमाओं का विवरण विनय पिटक जैसे ग्रन्थों मे विस्तार से दिया गया है। सम्राट अशोक से लेकर राजा सलहेश तक, अनेकौं गौरवशाली राजा-महाराजों ने इस भूमि पर राज्य किया। बारहवीं शताब्दी के आसपास मूस्लिम शासक यहाँ पर आए, और उसके बाद ब्रिटिश लोग। गोर्खाली ने अठारबीं शताब्दी में मधेश पर हमला किया, उस समय मधेश में सेन राजाओं का राज्य था। गोर्खालीयों ने अनेक छल-कपट किए, क्रूर-बर्बरता दिखाए, फिर भी मधेश पर कब्जा नहीं जमा सके। लेकिन ब्रिटिश ने कोशी से राप्ती बीच की मधेश की भूमि सन् १८१६ में उपभोग करने के लिए नेपाल सरकार को दे दिया, और उसी तरह सन् १८६० मे राप्ती से महाकाली बीच की मधेश की भूमि ब्रिटिश ने उपहार स्वरूप नेपाल सरकार को दे दिया। इस तरह से मधेश नेपाल के उपनिवेश बन गए। और शुरू से ही नेपाल सरकार मधेशीयों की जमीन हडपने और मधेशीयों को अपनी ही भूमि से भगाने में लगे रहे, मधेशीयों के साथ युद्धबन्दी सरह व्यवहार करते हुए गुलाम बनाने में लगे रहे।
मधेशीयों के उपर लादे गए उपनिवेश और गुलामी और उनके साथ किए जा रहे भेदभाव और रंगभेद अब छिपी नहीं हैं। इन सबसे मुक्ति के लिए मधेशीयों ने वर्षों से संघर्ष किया है, यहाँ तक कि महान मधेश आन्दोलन भी किया, ५४ से अधिक शहीद हुए, हजारों-हजार घायल हुए, लाखों ने अपना योगदान दिया। परन्तु इतने संघर्ष के बाद भी, इतने मधेशीयों के बलिदान और खून के बाद भी क्या परिवर्तन आए हैं? सुधरने के बदले, नेपाल के शासक तो उल्टा रूख पकडे हुए हैं। सम्झौते के मुताबिक हमें अधिकार देने के बदले, ये लोग हमारे अधिकार छिनने में लग गए। रंगभेद और भेदभाव खत्म करने के बदले, हमें और भी शिकार बनाते गए। मधेशीयों को नागरिकता देने के बजाए नागरिकता छिनने में लग गए; एक पर एक नागरिकता विधेयक लाकर ये लोग मधेशीयों को अनागरिक बनाने में लग गए। जो मधेशी कई दशकों से अपना भोट देते रहे हैं, उसका भी मतदान अधिकार इन्होंने छीन लिया, उनको भोटर लिस्ट से हटा दिया। विशेष सुरक्षा प्रणाली के नाम पर मधेश के निर्दोष लोगों को जेल में बन्द कर दिया, कितनों को दिनदहाडे बेबजह गोली मार दी गई। हमें दबाने के लिए सशस्त्र प्रहरी और सैनिक जगह-जगह पर लगा दिए गए हैं। मानव अधिकार संगठन बन्द करा दिए गए हैं। भाषा और भेषभूषा के मामले पर भी वही पुराने षड्यन्त्र करते रहे। मधेशी उपराष्ट्रपति को नेपाली बोलने और दौरा-सुरुवाल पहनने पर मजबूर करेके ही छोडा। हजारौं वर्ष से चलते आए सीमा आर-पार के हमारे सम्बन्धों को तोडने के लिए एक पर एक नियमकानून बनाते रहे, आज तो आप एक तौलिया लेकर भी आर-पार नहीं हो सकते। सेना में मधेशी की भर्ती और समावेशी की बात को धराशायी कर दिया गया। सम्झौता होने के बाबजूद हमारे नेता और पार्टीयाँ मधेशीयों को सेना में समानुपातिक प्रवेश तो क्या, ३००० मधेशीयों को भी प्रवेश नहीं करा सके, वश मजाक बनकर रह गया। हर क्षेत्र में मधेशी का कोटा पहाडी ले जा रहा है। नेपाल की मिडिया मधेश-विरोधी अभियान में संगठित हो गए और मधेश को बदनाम करते रहे, मधेशी की आवाज को दबाते रहे हैं। सम्झौता कर चुके ‘स्वायत्त मधेश प्रदेश’ देने के बजाए मधेश को खण्ड-खण्ड बनाने के लिए एक पर एक षड्यन्त्र करते रहे, हमें तोडेने का अनेक षड्यन्त्र करते रहे। पहाडी लोग कभी चुरे-भाँवर तो कभी अखण्ड सुदुरपश्चिम के नाम पर हमारी जमीन पर कब्जा जमाए रखना चाहते हैं, अपनी विरासत बनाए रखना चाहते हैं। हमें कभी थारू, कभी मूस्लिम, तो कभी जनजाति के नाम पर शासक लोग फुट डालना चाहते हैं, पर हम पुछते हैं, ऋतिक रोशन या नेपालगंज जैसे कांडो में थारू या जनजाति कहने पर पहाडीयों ने मारना छोड दिया था? मूस्लिम कहने पर पहाडियों ने आक्रमण नहीं किया था? घर में आग नहीं लगाई थी? माँ-बहन की इज्जत नहीं लुटी थी? काठमाण्डू में मस्जिद नहीं जलाई थी? सच तो यह है कि पहाडियों के अत्याचार से थारू हो या मूस्लिम या जनजाति, सभी मधेशी तडप रहे हैं। पूर्व में सुनसरी के शहीद परिवार हो, या सप्तरी-सिरहा-धनुषा के दलित, या पश्चिम में कंचनपुर जिल्ला के भूमिहीन हो या दांग के थारू कमैया या वीरगंज-नेपालगंज के हमारे मूस्लिम भाइ-बहन, सब की दुर्दशा है।
नेपाल को इतना पैसा मिलता है अनुदान में, इतने प्रोजेक्ट आते हैं, इतने का बज़ट बनता है, लेकिन सब पहाड चला जाता है। मधेशीयों को क्या मिलता है? पहाड में एक पर एक स्वर्ण-नगरी स्थापित किया जाता है, एक पर एक रोड, एयरपोर्ट, सरकारी कार्यालय, अस्पताल, स्कूल-कलेज, फैक्ट्री बनाए जाते हैं, इन्टरनेट की अत्याधुनिक सुविधाएँ है, ल्यापटप बाँटा जाता है, मधेश में क्या होता है? मधेश मे कुछ खुलने नहीं देता है, जो भी फैक्ट्री, सरकारी अफिस, कलेज या अस्पताल था, जो भी प्रोजेक्ट चल रहे थे, उसे बन्द करा दिया गया, उसे पहाड के तरफ लेकर चले गए। किसान को खाद और बीज तक नहीं मिलता, सरकार सिंचाइ की कोई व्यवस्था नहीं करती, किसान की कोई भी समस्या को सरकार नहीं देखती। मधेश में व्यापारी को अनावश्यक दु:ख दिया जाता है, निरूत्साहित किया जाता है। एक से एक बेहतरीन मधेशी युवा पढकर बेरोजगार बैठे हैं, सरकार उन्हें काम नहीं देती। नेपाल सरकार ने तो मधेशीयों को काम नहीं दिया, लेकिन अपने खून-पसीनों से अरब-मलेशिया, दिल्ली-पंजाब से भी जो हम कमाकर लाते हैं, मेहनत-मजदूरी करके यहीं पर भी जो कमाते हैं, उसका भी लगभग दो-तिहाई सरकार हमसे छीन लेती है। कैसे? कर के नाम पर। जिस मोटरसाइकल का दाम पचास हजार है, उसे हमें नेपाल सरकार डेढ़ लाख में खरीदने पर मजबूर करती है, यानि सरकार हमसे एक लाख छीन लेती है! जिस नानो गाडी का दाम दो लाख नेपाली रूपैयाँ है, उसे हमें नौ लाख में खरीदने पर मजबूर करती है, यानि हमारे मेहनत-मजदूरी का सात लाख नेपाल सरकार छीन लेती है! इसी तरह, पैसा तो हम कुछ न कुछ खरीदने में ही खर्च करते हैं, और सरकार मेहनत-मजदूरी से कमाए हुए हमारे पैसौं के अधिकांश हिस्सा हमसे छीन लेती है। और बदले में हमें क्या मिलता है? गोली और गुलामी। हमारे पैसौं से नेपाली शासक बन्दुक खरीदते हैं, गोली खरीदते हैं, और शसस्त्र प्रहरी और सैनिक हमारे उपर छोड देते हैं। आज जगह-जगह पर मधेशीयों को दबाने के लिए हजारों-हजार सशस्त्र प्रहरी और सैनिक तैनाथ किए गए हैं, वे पग-पग पर हमें सता रहे हैं, नेपाली उपनिवेश लाद रहे हैं, हमारी माँ-बहन की इज्जत लुट रहें है, हम पर एक पर एक अत्याचार किए जा रहे हैं।
मधेशीयों ने अपना अधिक से अधिक मत देकर मधेशी नेताओं को संसद भेजा, जितने सीट वे लोग सोच भी नहीं सकते थे उससे ज्यादा सीट पर नेताओं को पहुँचाया। लेकिन राष्ट्रपति, उपराष्ट्रपति, उपप्रधानमन्त्री, रक्षामन्त्री, गृहमन्त्री लगायत के मन्त्री परिषद् में मधेशी मन्त्रियों का बहुमत रहते हुए भी वे लोग मधेशी के लिए कुछ भी नहीं कर सके, बल्कि मधेशीयों का अधिकार खोते रहे हैं। यह प्रमाण है कि नेपाल के अन्दर रहते हुए हम कुछ भी हासिल नहीं कर सकते। मधेशी अफिसर, नेता, मन्त्री, उपप्रधानमन्त्री या राष्ट्रपति को तो एक पहाडी प्यून या ड्राइभर भी नहीं ‘टेरता’ है, तो ये क्या परिवर्तन लाएँगे? सेना को ‘धोती’ रक्षा-मन्त्री स्वीकार्य नहीं, तो सेना क्या मधेशी मन्त्री को ‘टेरेंगे’?
नेपाल के अन्दर रहते हुए कोई राजनैतिक परिवर्तन मधेशीयों के जीवन मे कुछ बदलाव ला न सका, और न ही ला सकेगा। पुराने तरीके, पुरानी माँगे बर्षो-वर्ष अब पचकर-सडकर ‘मल’ बनकर निकल चुकी है, और हम देख चुके हैं कि उससे मधेशीयों को कभी कुछ पोषण नहीं मिला। लेकिन हमारे नेतालोग संसद और सरकार मे जाने के लालच से वही पचकर-सडकर निकले हुए ‘मल’ फिर से मधेशीयों को खिलाने की कोशिस कर रहे हैं। लेकिन मधेशी जनता वही ‘मल’ खाएगी? हरगिज नहीं। मधेशी जनता तो अब नई राह पर, नए लक्ष्य की ओर चलेगी; अपनी और मधेश की स्वतन्त्रता के लिए आगे बढेगी।
क्या कोई और व्यवस्था मधेश की अखण्डता की ग्यारेन्टी करती है? नेपाली शासक तो हमें तोडने में लगे हैं, हमें लडाने में लगे हैं। क्या कोई और व्यवस्था मधेशीयों की जमीन नहीं छिनने की और पहाडीयों को मधेश में बसाने का षड्यन्त्र नहीं होने देने की ग्यारेन्टी करती है? अगर नहीं तो वह दिन दूर नहीं जब और जिल्ला भी झापा या चितवन की तरह पूरी तरह से पहाडीयों से भर जाएगा, और मधेशी केवल उनके दास बन कर रह जाएँगे। क्या कोई और व्यवस्था मधेश में सिडियो, एसपी लगायत के सभी प्रशासक मधेशी होने की ग्यारेन्टी करती है? नहीं तो पहाडी शासक हम पर कर्फ्यू लगाकर आक्रमण करता रहेगा, शोषण करता रहेगा। क्या कोई और व्यवस्था ऋतिक रोशन कांड र नेपालगंज घटना जैसे षड्यन्त्र कराके मधेशीयों पे आक्रमण और लुटपाट नहीं होने की ग्यारेन्टी करती है? पहाडी द्वारा मधेशीयों के घर और गाँव नहीं जलाने की ग्यारेन्टी करती है? मधेश के कामकाज और नौकरियाँ मधेशीयों को ही मिलने की ग्यारेन्टी करती है? क्या मधेश की आय के सम्पूर्ण भाग और वैदेशिक अनुदान और प्रोजेक्ट के आधे हिस्से मधेश को मिलने की ग्यारेन्टी करती है? क्या देश भितर और बाहर रहे मधेशीयों की पहचान और आत्मसम्मान की समस्या को हल करती है? क्या हमारी राष्ट्रियता पर शक नहीं किया जाएगा, हमसे नागरिकता नहीं माँगा जाएगा, हमसे ‘नेपाली हो र? नेपाली जस्तो देखिनुहुन्न’ नहीं कहा जाएगा? क्या कोई और व्यवस्था मधेश से सम्पूर्ण पहाडी सेना वापस करने की ग्यारेन्टी करती है? सम्पूर्ण पहाडी प्रहरी और सशस्त्र प्रहरी फिर्ता लेने की ग्यारेन्टी करती है? नहीं तो नेपाली शासकलोग जब चाहे हम पर गोली चलाकर राज करता रहेगा, जो भी नियम-कानून और संविधान बनाकर हम पर लादता रहेगा, केन्द्रिय सरकार आपत्कालीन स्थिति घोषणा करके मिनट भर में हमारे सारे अधिकार छीन सकती है। और हमें, हमारी माँ-बहन को, इन पहाडी सैनिक और पुलिस के खौफ में सदा की तरह जीना पडेगा। यानि कि, परम्परागत तरीकों से इनमें से हमें कुछ भी नहीं मिल सकता। ये सब चीज स्वतन्त्र मधेश में ही प्राप्त हो सकती है, मधेश आजाद होने से ही मिल सकती है।
