    Dear Dr. Yadav,

I was your roommate at Cornell in the fall of 1971, in Sage Hall
(graduate center). The question now is: do you remember my last name? : )

I have often thought about you since you returned to Nepal, and have wondered what you are doing. Can you send me an e-mail and tell me more?

Today I finally decided to “Google” you (as they say here in America when we are looking for some information on the internet with the Google search engine) and how happy that I found you!

    Sincerely,
    John S.
